We have an opening for a full-time Service Technician working out of any of our Vermont (VT) or New Hampshire (NH) offices. Duties and qualifications include:
Company van for making service calls in VT & NH.
Can work independently or with a team member.
Interaction and communication between office, client and other technicians.
Technical knowledge needed for the job and ability to diagnose and repair HVAC equipment.
Accurate and timely paperwork.
Clean driving record.
Gas license in VT and NH.
EPA license.
NORA and/or VT oil burner license.
Successful candidate must be flexible with work assignments. Attention to detail is essential along with experience in mechanical contracting, plumbing and HVAC. Computer skills and app skills required. Compensation is between $27.00 and $40.00 commensurate with experience.

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Heating Service Technician to join our service team. If you enjoy diagnosing problems, solving technical challenges, and providing outstanding customer service, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial heating equipment.
Service oil, propane, and natural gas-fired heating systems.
Perform preventative maintenance on boilers, furnaces, unit heaters, rooftop equipment, and hydronic heating systems.
Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before they become major failures.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical control systems.
Complete service reports and work orders using mobile technology.
Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, repair recommendations, and equipment operation.
Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service.
Maintain a clean, organized serviace vehicle and follow all company safety policies.
Qualifications
Commercial heating service experience preferred.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Experience servicing commercial boilers, burners, hydronic systems, and heating equipment.
Knowledge of electrical controls and HVAC control systems is a plus.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work safely in a variety of environments.
Preferred Certifications
Vermont and/or New Hampshire Gas Fitter License (preferred)
Oil Burner Technician Certification
EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification (a plus)
NATE Certification (a plus)

What You'll Do
Perform preventative maintenance on commercial and residential HVAC equipment

Identify potential issues before equipment failures occur
Complete maintenance reports and service documentation
Communicate findings and recommendations to customers
Follow company safety standards and industry best practices
Maintain a professional appearance and positive customer relationships
Assist service technicians with repairs when needed
What We're Looking For
Preferred Qualifications
HVAC maintenance experience
Mechanical, plumbing, electrical, or construction experience
EPA Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Technical school or trade school training
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
